President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting on the digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T.Atakhalliev, who oversees the agro-industrial complex, and khakimov velayats, at which the progress of seasonal field work in the country was reviewed, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

As reported, cotton sowing continues in the velayats these days, all measures are being taken to carry it out in accordance with the established deadlines and to use agricultural machinery and aggregates at full capacity.

In order to grow a rich wheat crop and strengthen food abundance, its crops are cared for in accordance with agrotechnical standards. At the same time, in preparation for the harvest season, everything necessary is being done for the proper functioning of reception points, elevators, and vehicles.

To provide the population with potatoes, vegetables and other agricultural products, spring crops are currently being sown and cared for in the regions.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that among the important conditions for obtaining rich harvests are carrying out agrotechnical measures on time and at a high quality level, the need to comply with established requirements during current agricultural campaigns, especially cotton sowing and wheat care.

Addressing the participants of the workshop, the Head of state stressed that every effort should be made to ensure high-quality and organized agricultural work, compliance with agrotechnical standards. It was also instructed to prepare for the wheat harvest season.

In addition, the President of Turkmenistan instructed the khakims of the velayats to ensure a high level of organization of cultural and sports events planned on the occasion of the widely celebrated World Health Day.
